– Sold individually These long skirted style gas caps (also known as cam gas caps) are vented and are made of chrome plated steel. They are reproductions of the original Eaton gas caps, including the ‘E’ makers mark on the underside, and are restoration quality. The longer skirt gives you a classic throwback look to the tanks of yesteryear. This vented gas cap is correct for left and right side on Harley-Davidson FL 1941-1964, EL 1939-40, and UL 1938-48. These caps also work with stock (’36 – ’82) and aftermarket gas tanks with the bayonet style bung (which is up to 1982). This vented cap will work on single-cap model gas tanks or for the right-side gas tank on dual tank models 1965 & later. This cap will not work on the left-side gas tank on 1965-1982 dual tank models. The left tank on these years requires a non-vented gas cap, and the bung is different, so this cap will not fit. Replaces Harley-Davidson OEM # 61103-36.
